I've red in many places that the electric brake control on the 4th generation has had many issues about towing a heavy trailer my rig is 15,000 pounds loaded and I don't want to have any problems trying to stop it has the issue been rectified with a factory installed electronic brake control or is it still an issue thank you in advance for your help and answers, my rig is a jayco Pinnacle fifth wheel 40 and 1/2 feet long

Where have you read that? I’ve consistently towed from 6-14K. Aside from adjusting between the heavy-electric/light-electric setting it has been seamless, and haven’t had any issues.

Thanks for your input, Just Google it and you will see all kinds of posts about guys complaining about it I'm glad to read the next post saying that it was a software issue that was taken care of, I feel much more confident now thank you for all your help and replies

I can’t figure how to change it from heavy to light

I think it's on the radio's(uconnect) settings menu: Trailer Brake
Vehicle Settings Menu Item
Trailer Select -- Trailer 1; Trailer 2; Trailer 3; Trailer 4
Brake Type -- Light Electric; Heavy Electric; Light EOH; Heavy EOH

As noted above, you change the brake type through the radio.
Each one of the trailer "settings" on the radio can be set for a different trailer. The truck will log the number of miles you tow that particular trailer.
