Ordered my 2022 Ram 3500 Laramie Crew Cab 4x4 6' 4" bed single rear tires. I ordered single because I spent too much on tires for my 2003 Ram 3500 HO Cummins's (had 49,000 in 2019--I know it's just moving numbers around at the dealer, but I paid 53,000 for it and just got 19,000--while at the salesman's desk I could see someone was talking to salesman, and getting out of my truck, (if you did not notice tags on truck you would think it was brand new) as we were closing the deal on my 2019 Ram--I'm 99% sure it was sold before we left the lotas I saw them both return to salesman's desk) I absolutely loved that truck. Back to the point--my 2022 cost $83,326.00 with tags taxes etc. to be added.
Sad story-spent a 1 1/2 at dealer picking out options at dealer (picked them all at Dodge Ram site but there were different at dealership-some things became standard, some were added to packages, and some removed from packages) --When the total came, I asked salesman what discount he will offer me because I wouldn't pay sticker for any of his 2022 Ram 3500 on his lot now, nor would anyone else. Well, I think he thought I was crazy for asking such a dumb question and said "let me talk to my manager" (just like the commercials) -- returned and said nothing-no discount. I advised him of 2 others, very well-known dealerships within 15 miles of his and I am going to all 3 today for the best offer. He said good luck and I said--you know ???? is going to offer a discount, right? (His most well-known competitor) to which he replied, "yea I know they will". Well, their competitor did just that and took off $1,500.00 instantly. That was all I hoped for BEFORE truck arrives. Idiots-COVID must have gotten to them or there is NO profit in selling ordered trucks, yea that must be it -no profit.
Any way ordered Nov 18th--Dec 1st got vin--Dec 10th told delivery will be January 12th--while I'm out of the country--FRUSTRATING----
