Hi folks. I have a 2011 ram 1500 slt, wondering if anyone has had any success with fixing tpms reading flatline issue.
Also need to know if door mirror light pod can be replaced by itself, or if mirror had to be replaced. I much appreciate any feedback.

Not sure what the TPMS issue you're having...

On the mirror, are you talking about the lights on the bottom - puddle and turn I believe? Yes, I knocked the lens off mine and got a replacement online. There are a couple videos online that'll show you how to reach under the mirror to get the clips to remove the current piece out.

While we have a lot of members who don't own 5th gens posting in this section, you might want to post these questions in the 4th gen section for better visibility to other 4th gen owners.

Thankyou for info, i am going to get replacement puddle light and fix. For the tpms issue, bought truck used 4 months ago no issues untill 3 weeks ago. Service tire pressure system appeared on evic screen. Went to tire pressures to check and saw left rear had no reading, just 3 short dashes. Shortly after it returned to normal, but still does it intermittently. I suspect sensor is ok, not sure what to check since this is the first truck I've owned that is this advanced electronically. Any advice i can get is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Pretty sure I read you can disable TPMS using AlfaOBD. You might type that into the search feature. It's come up before. But I haven't personally done it so...do a search.

Most of the time, I'm just viewing "new unread posts" and not really looking at where they're posted.

If it's just one of the wheels that's causing that issue, I'd suspect the wheel sensor. No telling when (or if) it's been replaced.

Bad sensor is the likely tpms issue. When they fail it is often intermittent. Happened that way with my old minivan. And with an older gm vehicle I had.

Thankyou all for your help. I'm going to replace sensor. Since last post, found another issue. Front right tire reads correct pressure but as it warms up it reads 2 to 3 times correct pressure. Checked tire with pressure guage and is correct. Any idea why this one reads 85 psi? Thamks.

You use a hand held air reader and check that way? Sounds like your TPMS has a bug or two. I swap tires and rims often and have had my sensors go into “winter mode”. Mine read after they warm
Up, however the light stays on and once in awhile they will read “- - -“

yes, use a digital pressure gauge. I'm going to do some more digging around. Hopefully I'll find issue. This truck is really nice. If i can get a few bugs worked out, it will be super nice.
