I'll put in my two cents:
I've been on this thread since 2020 and made my fair contributions, including some scientific discussions about lubricants. I even debated with
@Burla about the correlation of Red Line, Lubeguard, and preventing HEMI lifter failures. That debate resulted in arguments and some unpleasant exchanges. Still, it's almost the only thread I visit here because I know some guys here enjoy their company.
That being said, I believe that this thread, being as long and convoluted as it is, has outlived its usefulness. I'm saying that because it's hard to make any sense of it except for those who participated for a long time in this discussion.
Now, I would be sad to see this thread closed. However, I believe that as we advance, it would be a good idea to start new threads about specific lubrication issues to keep the information fresh and relevant. It would certainly make life easier for new members looking to get more information on the subject.
