Anyone use these or know if these are compatible with AlfaOBD? I want to buy the stuff to use with the AlfaOBD app I'm gonna download on my tablet so I want to make sure these will work. Screenshot_20221016-222328_Amazon Shopping.jpgScreenshot_20221016-222403_Amazon Shopping.jpg

I've been using the BAFX adapter to add new key fobs, change to an LED 3rd brake lamp, little things like that.

I haven't had to use it to read any codes as I haven't had any problems with the truck. But it will access the various modules with no issues it appears.

I haven't tried to use it to do any major mods like adding climate control or the like though.

I had a very similar odb reader like the one you show. Can't say I tried everything AlphaODB can do but the few things I did try it worked for the most part. A couple times I did have to restart the app and reconnect bluetooth config. Enough that I stopped messing with it till my MK+ showed up which has been flawless. I've read/cleared codes, added some fobs, and used to troubleshoot fobs that weren't unlocked properly in order to add to truck (sent those back to get done right). Unlock cable am not sure as I haven't had to get one with a 2016.

Once a month I go through all the individual procedures you can run diagnostics on ... I can check and make sure all my lights are working correctly, the horn, locks ... it's a long list of things you can check and make sure are working properly ....

I also do the "Read All Faults" and "Read Confirmed Faults" ... sometimes you can see something that the truck didn't catch for whatever reason ....

Example ... I go a fault about the backup camera a few weeks ago, I check the connector and it was loose ....
