Holy bend over! My dealer only charged me $800 and no diagnostic.

This information is from the recall notice. It says you go to www.fcarecallreimbursement.com and submit you reimbursement request. They will let you know what documents you need.
I did this and they denied my claim. Said the shop wasn't on their approved list. Although the instructions do not mention anything about approved lists.

I certainly would challenge that one. I suppose the "approved" ones are conveniently located at the stealers facility.

Glad I read this, I was going to have my local shop do it and submit the paperwork for reimbursement. Getting the feeling I'll be waiting awhile on the dealer to do it.

I am totally bummed. I paid to have abs unit replaced in January. I worked great for six months. Now the service abs error is back. The error code now says right rear abs sensor bad. I had both rear sensors replaced and the error code is the same. Could the replacement unit have gone bad again? Looking for any advice on what it could be. I haven't put in for reimbursement, so I can still get it replaced at the dealer except they want to charge me again for a diagnostic.

I had the truck undercoated with wax wool right after the dealer changed the abs unit back in Jan. It hasn't seen snow since then. i was down south since then. I could give it another look, but that **** doesn't dry, and it stays wet and goopy. I had a garage change the two rear sensors. When he was done, he was complaining the about getting so messy. I had to tip him good... he looked like an oil rig worker :)
