Pic from Christmas day shooting with my 6yr old. Love the Copperhead Pearl. I got it used with 4k miles on it. As soon as I seen it the deal was done lol.
Ive had mine for just over a year and there is only very minor leaking in the corners of the tailgate. This is only when I go through the carwash which is once a week. Overall I love it and have zero complaints. No fading, functions great and gets out of the way when I need it to.
Ive had the SRAMCQ09 in for over a month and have taken a few long road trips with it. I'm still really perplexed by it and wondering if I installed it correctly. Its on, it plays music, but the problem I'm having is that i have to turn the volume up to about 20 to hear much of anything of it...
Installed the Kicker SRAMCQ09 this morning. Install wasnt bad, instructions were adequate. I did add the polyfill as recommended by some other members. I only got to listen to it for about 15min and while it does sound better I was hoping for bit more umph. I have a 7hr one way road trip on...
Holy cow what a thread...I think I have changed my mind 4 times on what I should/shouldnt do with my '13 Crew Cab. I have put in the Kickers in all the doors and dash and that helped for sure, but its time to add a little more bottom end. GreyGoose this unit coming out will that work in a '13...
I waiting desperately for the excuse to dump the POS stock Goodyear SR-As that came on my 4x4. They are terrible. Definitely keeping an eye on this thread, so ready for a real A/T tire.
There is enough room for the lowering bar to fit in the hole even with the light bar partially covering. To line it up I put a 1ft socket extension bar in the hole and then put the light bar just above that leaving some extra wiggle room and then made sure everything was level and then snugged...
I've always ran the Recon's and never had an issue. My last one I had on my truck for 8yrs and never had a problem. I have reordered one for my current truck as well.
So day 2 of the new speakers.....yeah it needs a sub...bad and its going to be hard to wait a month or more to get those pieces together and installed lol. 1st world problems I guess :)
I decided to run the Kicker 40CS654 6.5s in the front and rear doors. I installed them first today and listened to it through several types of songs. I will say doing this ALONE was a huge improvement. Much better highs, much better response decent punchy bass.
I then went ahead and...
Well Crutchfield delivered the box of goodies a couple of hours ago. Cant complain just under 48hrs from order to delivery. So it looks like I'll try to get at least part of the doors installed tomorrow. Plan is to do the doors and listen to it before I put the dash 3.5s in.
Cjm - do you have any vids of what your set up sounds like? I'm torn on the Kicker sub replacement. Being completely plug and play is good, but wondering if for the coin I can get something more.
Woojyee that is a pretty sick set up and I would LOVE to blow the budget on that lol.
For now I am going to go the route of replacing all the door and dash speakers with the Kickers. Thankfully they arent very expensive and see how that sounds like I figure out what I want to do sub and amp...
Woojyee I ran a similar series JL when I had my qc Dakota. There was a box that fit behind the driverside rear seat that was a tight fit, but that JL was solid in there. What amp do you have on your JL? Sounds just about like what I'm looking for. Deep enough when you want it loud but not...
Robo, the 12 in my last truck was a Dayton. I had never heard of them before that and they are a great sub for the money. What amp are you running on it?
