Adding seat heaters and lumbar support to 12v socket?

I didn't think of just running the one main wire in and then splitting once inside the cab. What do you have your relay tied to? 12v socket? tapped into keyed fuse in fuse box?

Adding seat heaters and lumbar support to 12v socket?

Hi All, I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab that I am looking to add seat warmer pads and adjustable lumbar support to. I have seen in the past people recommending to just tap into the 12v sockets in the dash to get power to them instead of going all the way to the fuse box or battery. I...

No power to turn signal wire

and...I just realized my mistake...I had checked the fuse box, but didn't realize there was a separate one for left trailer turn signal and right trailer turn signal. Lo and behold...the right turn signal fuse is blown

No power to turn signal wire

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 with the MOPAR 4 and 7 way trailer plug in the bumper. I recently got a boat, and when I hooked up the trailer found that the passenger side trailer turn signal doesn't work. Long story short, I traced it back to the wire for the passenger side turn signal in the truck...

    Rear lean to the right?

Hi All, I've heard that Ram's are notorious for leaning to the driver's side (especially when the gas tank is full). My 1500 seems to be the opposite. Even with a full tank it leans about two inches lower on the passenger side in the rear. I looked underneath and the spring isn't broken. I did...

    CAI and Throttle Body spacer

Glad you got the performance boost you were looking for. I'm going to say that the majority of the gains are from the CAI. I had a throttle body spacer and on it's own, it doesn't change much of anything.

    Rock Guard?

Does anyone know what the official name of the little OEM plastic piece in the back of the wheel wells is? I know it's there to help protect the edge of the paint from getting chipped, but when I search for OEM rock guard, all I get is full mud guards. I have a 2013 1500 Express that I had put...

2019 Ram Rebel w/2" level and 35" tires

That looks awesome...I am very jealous. Do you have any pics of what you did to modify the plastics? Did you just cut out a chunk? Is there any rub anywhere else other than that lower spot you showed in your video?

    Audio upgrade Infinity Reference

I put the same speakers into my '13 Crew cab, except with the little bit of extra depth the rear doors have, I put 3 way speakers in there. Either way the Reference's are a great upgrade over stock

    Thinking about it

You'll just have to buy a 2019 that is 200+lbs lighter and then when you put on the big bumper, you'll still be lighter than your old truck. You're wallet will be lighter too! Weight savings everywhere!

Adding Heated Seats to Express (Tapping into factory wiring)

Hi All, I've been doing some research on adding heat pads to the front seats in my 2013 1500 Express. My original plan was to buy the generic Rostra kits and just wire it out to the fuse box. However, when looking around my truck I found I have a 25A fuse already in the spot for heated seats...

Flexy Nerf Bars...any way to fix?

Luckily I've already got the factory drilled holes there, so just put some bolts through and tighten everything down. Thanks for your help!

Flexy Nerf Bars...any way to fix?

I think I figured it out. Included in the package were some random extra brackets, but the instructions didn't mention anything about them and didn't even include them on the parts list. I assumed they were for installing on other make/models of trucks, so I just set them to the side. After...

Flexy Nerf Bars...any way to fix?

They attach just to the rocker panel using the hex holes that are there from the factory. Is it normal for bars to have some flex if they are only secured at the rocker panel and not at the pinch or frame? Mine probably flex down about an inch or so with my 170lbs on them. After looking at it...

    Custom Exhaust Work ...help!

So after reading all about people replacing the stock Y-pipe with the Magnaflow one, I decided to order one up. After calling around to a few speed shops in the area, I finally found someone who said they can and are willing to install it. I have a few questions for the people that have done...

Stock wheel info please! See Pic!

The chrome cladding holds up well. I have them on my 2013 and still clean up well after years of salt filled North east winters. They are basically a plastic cover over aluminum wheels, so they don't pit like real chrome. Unless you know what you're looking at or just nit picking, it's hard to...

    Car seat room?

if you haven't already been convinced, you could go for a 2019 crew cab.
