Does anyone know what the official name of the little OEM plastic piece in the back of the wheel wells is? I know it's there to help protect the edge of the paint from getting chipped, but when I search for OEM rock guard, all I get is full mud guards.

I have a 2013 1500 Express that I had put flares and mud guards on, but now I'm thinking of changing up the look and going back to stock. Unfortunately, I think I may have thrown out the OEM guards.

Spats like mentioned. I did the same thing this year too. I noticed my husky liners were doing damage so took em off.

I’m starting to realize most aftermarket parts do more damage than good. Mopar flaps are the worse IMO. Most after market fender flares too. My EGR bug deflector dug into my grill has damaged it so I have to leave it on lol.

Anyways, you should be able to find these on here no problem or check a local scrap yard. You can’t have mine [emoji12]. Also, the retainer push pins are impossible to find. Unless you go to dealer and take it dry

As mentioned they are Spats, You can get them on E Bay as well as those push pins. Some local Auto Parts stores have them .
These should be the the right spats but I would double check !

Didn't your HuskyLiner mudflaps come with paint protectors? Mine came with pre-cut clear paint protectors to put on before you installed the mudflaps. It looked almost like a clear sticker with lines when you pulled the sheet out of the package.

Oh they did. It was everywhere else they rubbed and caused damage. I could put them back on but I’ll have to protect the areas they rub

If you look on the bottom you might see where the paint has rubbed off. I had some on the inner lip of wheel well near the top too

Find a friend that removed them to put the aftermarket flares on and ask for them.

Take a look at the DuraFlap Full Size Drill-less installation mud flaps. They do not rub on the paint and they give great full protection.
They work with or without flares, and even with the aftermarket flares. Just let DuraFlap know what your set up is and they will send you the right fit up. They can even do custom shifting, lengths and artwork.
