    Constant power on obd port

    So u connecte us forcing a 4g dongle next to my ******, and I've always been taught; that constant power across the port will erode and degrade it, as it's not designed for that. Is this an old wives tale or real science ? Will I damage my port by leaving it constantly plugged in, like they want ?
