    So my 2015 5.7 started ticking with a bit of a knock 2 days ago . I changed the oil and there was no metal in the oil. It looked perfect, however, It was still making the ticking noise. I had to drive it 300 miles back home, so I drove in tow/haul mode. Milage was normal, temp was normal, but...

    Whats going on with this cylinder?

    Hi Guys, I noticed a loud knock on my engine. Immediately turned it off. It was coming from the even side numbered cylinders. I took vaulve cover off and cranked it to see whats up. Noticed that cylinder 4 stops moving after a few seconds. Please see videos. Please advise. Video Here.
