If I ever upgrade my sc tuner to a better one I'll have to give this a go.

Hell 10.11 is not bad for as heavy as your truck is. You should be able to break into the 9's with the 91 tune. What are you waiting for.

Take out the back seat and spare tire that should lighten you up some.

Yes DSP has trans control for me. I can do WOT up shift points and part throttle up and down shift points. No TM though.

I am happy with my DSP, I just hear everyone talking about SC and want to try one. Maybe one of these days I will get one and compare the 2. Plus I am leary about if I ever have any issues, I have not yet, that Diablo does very little to help, while SC seems to have awesome customer service.

Well, I finally got a tracking number for the new SC3865. Should be here this afternoon. Really looking forward to making some runs to compare to the DSP.

I am curious to see how much of a difference you experience. I did the same comparison between DSP and SC on my truck. The SC was the hands down winner in terms of performance numbers.

Does the 03 support trans functions? Just courious I have heard the canned SC tunes outrun DSP but im seeing Redneck has a modified 93 tune so it might be close. Deffently gonna keep my eye on it.

Nothing is easy.... I recieved the SC3865 and did the upgrade online and plugged into the truck and it indicated I needed to update again. So there it is locked in a loop. Upgrade the tuner, all looks good. Plug into the truck and it doesn't allow me to tune but gave me a number to record. Not an error number. I called SC and to my surprise was able to talk to a tech in a matter of minutes. Gave what information he asked fo and am now waiting for his return call. We will see what happens now.....

SC is usually pretty good about stuff like that. Hopefully they get you taken care of so you can tune your truck.

The straw that broke the camels back was when I waited over 30 minutes on hold with Diablo without speaking to anyone. Went the forum and got ignored. So I am pleased I was able to talk with someone at SC who seemed to care about getting my problem fixed. Now as for the problem, I believe this is going to get messy as when I had the dealer reflashed my PCM they told me they were unable to set the new serial number for the update. It appeard to them Diablo had locked the PCM. They used the term eLocked. Now as things go my trust of dealerships is on the same level as Diablo, so I don't know what really is going on. But my guess is that my PCM is not flashed correctly and that is going to be a problem because my dealer can't do anything about apparently. So a reflash isn't always a 100% reset. We will see...

When and why did the dealer do the reflash? I know when I went to upload my SCT I had to make sure my PCM number matched what was gonna get installed if not they wouldnt be able flash eachother.

Diablo DSP caused my truck to throw ABS warnings when the "Quick Adjust" menu was used. Diablo was unable to correct the problem and I had to have my ABS reset. Thinking that my early PCM might be part of the problem I had the dealer reflash a update and rest the ABS. This was when they first told me there was a problem. I also change DSP Crom version, so I attempted to make the DSP work again. Didn't happen, As soon as I used the Quick Adjuster again it threw the ABS warning again. This is when I pulled the DSP from my truck and once again had the dealer reset the ABS. And agin they said the PCM was elocked. (???)
