first time poster here! To start off I had a tune up about 6 mos. ago and the shop supposedly put double platinum plugs in, well to make a long story short I blew a top radiator hose a couple weeks ago, and had it towed to a shop. Well they wound up doing head gasket and having the heads worked on. The shop just called me and told me they wanted to put new plugs in it but it calls for the double platinum plugs. Well if I’m not mistaken don’t these truck and the hemis prefer the copper plugs?

All of that work because the radiator hose blew? That doesn't make sense to me.

I’m under the impression that they are replacing the head gasket and that’s what caused the radiator hose to blow. This is being covered under an aftermarket warranty so pocket damage is minimal
