Does anyone know a way to make the 120volt plug on the dash stay on, with the key off. I use my 120 volt plug to keep my laptop charged, but its a pain in the ass that i need to leave the key on to keep it charging.

Any input or wiring diagrams would help. Thanks.

Nope it wont. The laptop draws very little current. In my previous truck, i ran a 400W inverter all day without issue.

Shouldn't be too difficult a process, but I don't have any wiring diagrams, so no reply of mine will be simple. However, I would imagine some probing will a multi-meter would sort out a solution relatively quickly.

sorry not trying to hijack your thread. I have a 12V/800 W inverter and I know how much draw I can put on it but I have no idea how much draw is the in dash 120V plug meant to allow? Anyone know?
