Alright boys and girls. Went and got a shorter push rod for both intake and exhaust. All they had was .30 smaller. Installed and the miss is gone. Taps like a mf now cause of the shorter push rod but no miss. You guys tell me?

Miss goes away with shorter push rods. That means your bleeding compression while running. Not always picked with a compression test. Cause could be the valve job. Valve work might have the valve seated to deep in the head making it longer on the stem end if the makes sense. Another possibility is a bad lifter holding the valve open ever so slightly.
Did not see anything posted about checking the injector. Swap it with next door cylinder and see if miss moves with it.
Does the spark plug tell you anything, dark gray (rich), bleach white(lean), gap closed up?
These problems are always fun

So I did swap Injectors and coils multiple times. I think you are right with the valve being seated to deep in the head. I know remember I had one new valve Installed because I had a Burnt one. I am
Willing to bet that valve is on cylinder 6. I am going to the machine shop in the morning and see what they recommend on what to do next. Hopefully not pull
The head off lol

Think I found the issue. Pulled the head and saw lifters are in wrong place. I have both front set lifters on the passenger side. And I guess both rear sets on driver side. But I only have a miss on passenger side number 6. Going to swap lifters on 6 and 8 and put head back on shortly and see if that corrects it.

Swapped lifters and trucks runs good now

I'm reading this and thinking you mentioned originally you thought the mds lifters were in the wrong locations. I agreed but I had to finish the thread to confirm the answer. Good find. Hate to see 8k down the drain.

Nice work on figuring it out. That could've ended way worse.
