Here is a list of the issues we've seen in this thread and others so far and how to fix or avoid them.
Issue 1
The mileage of the cluster isn't the same as my truck.
Option 1 Buy a cluster with more miles than your truck and drive until you catch up to the cluster.
Option 2 Contact
instrumentclusterstore.com and have them reset the cluster's mileage for a $200 charge.

Option 3 Buy a new cluster from the dealer (around $500) and pay the core charge ( $800) or trade in a used cluster from salvage and they will make sure the new cluster mileage is correct.
Issue 2
I've bought a cluster that was paired with the 8.4 head unit and I can't change some of the settings
Option 1 Avoid this problem by getting the VIN of the donor trucks cluster and checking the equipment the truck was shipped with at the recall site.
Dodge - Recall
Option 2 Find someone near you who would let you hook up your cluster to their truck for couple of minutes to correct the settings you need to adjust.
Issue 3
The hours on my cluster don't match what I've actually driven.
Option 1 If you are having your mileage corrected by
instrumentclusterstore.com they can also set the hours as well for no additional charge.

Option 2 Live with it and if anyone brings it up at trade in or sale time then be sure to tell them why the hours are off.
Option 3 Have the memory that holds the hours moved over to the new cluster when the mileage is being corrected. You will have to see if this service is offered by the company resetting your mileage.
