14 Express speakers are HORRIBLE

Aftermarket speakers for the express are relatively cheap, as well as easy to install! Just search for some build threads.

Kicker makes plug in replacements. Moe's had a thread about them, seems decently impressed with them and they are budget friendly.

If you can swing it, look at Focal. The handmade ones, not the ones from Korea.

I just put a system in a 2014 Wrangler with a soft top. It is totally unbelievable. It's also in a soft top which makes it even more nuts. I still can't get over it.

They are pricy... but well worth it. That's what's going in my Ram hands down.

Def turn the bass down. I always have mine on -2. The best thing you could do is replace the 3.5 dash speakers. I changed them out and it woke up the the front stage. I wasn't impressed my stock 12 speakers sounded way better.

Yup. I might lose my Hawg Wired speakers and go with those on my RG. They are without a doubt the best I've heard in that size.

I turn the stereo on in the new Jeep and just shake my head. Doesn't seem possible that those Focal's can sound like that.
