I thought that truck looked freakin awesome. I still have the magazine (Popular Mech I think or a design industry mag) with it on the cover.
I really liked the retro front end too.

I still own my 99 NV 4500 5 and. Wish i had the available 6 speed...but doesn't change the fact in 1999 the only available automatic was a 4sp

You can see the 5 spd there...but they didn't use it.

It is funny though as in the 90s the manual transmission got you more power in the Cummins and V10...and then in the 4th Gen the manual got the detuned version.

Amazing what people giving up the 3rd pedal has done for automatic tranamissions

It was a bit weird that I was just going to post these pictures and found this thread, so no new thread, I'll just tack onto this one.

I took these in '99 at Medowbrook Estates in Rochester MI.

Before the new Charger was released, they also had a concept Charger on display. I like it a LOT better than what they came out with.

I'm not a fan of either concept. The PW is UGLY! The Charger looks like a Camaro. No thanks.
