2019 Classic never noticed it getting wet back there before now. The dealership has me coming in on Wednesday morning (that's when the leak specialist works I was told).
It could be the third brake light or the rear window I guess from a cursory search?
Wish me luck! I love my truck and hopefully they can get me fixed up.

Update: Tightened the screws (1/4 turn) in the 3rd brake light assembly on Saturday. Hard rain last night, dry truck this morning. Still going to take it in Wednesday and talk to them.
I strongly suggest putting a screw check for this on the regular maintenance schedule, I will.

I took my 3rd light out yesterday. Some people seem to have a dry rotted gasket from the factory from what it sounds like?

when I took mine off it seemed like a good material that was far from dry rotted?

maybe some trucks from certain plants were built with an updated gasket? Mine legitimately didn’t seem like it needed to be changed.

mines a 2017 I believe made at the Mexican plant.

I'm glad you "fixed" it, but it is incredibly easy to fix it better. I encourage you to look at the aftermarket gasket versus oem, the md stuff is like a water gauntlet, it aint getting through. If the oem gets krincked at all that sucker leaks, but there is no krinking the md stuff, it doesn't krink. 5 minutes and 8 dollars later you will never need think of that brake light again.

One side is water proof adhesive made for marine application, and the other side has many ridges that anyone of can stop leaks. This is a known issue and an easy fix, don't trust that oem gasket. If it leaks slower, which would suck, cause you would be breathing mold.

There is also a problem with the cabin vents under the rear window (in between bed and cab of truck). I had my brake light sealed and changed gasket before figuring this out (kept getting wet in truck). I pulled them out and caulked around them and reinstalled. Drove me crazy having my truck getting wet until figured it out. There is a good video or pics of someone sealing them up with caulk.

I agree RDHemi16, checked my floor on my 18 after a rain and they were wet. Pulled the seats and wall panel and both vents had puddles of water on the top lip. Used some cardboard and a/c tape to tighten them up to wall and keep them from moving around, now they are rain tight. 20200429_154530.jpg

One other possiblity if it wasn't the brake light or the rear window.

I didn't have the water in the cab but a mildew smell that was the rotting leaves caught between the cab and the bed. Smell was coming through the cabin vents.
