Any cons on doing just a 2" strut level kit?

The biggest con is if you talk about it on the internet people will argue forever about the best way to do it.

There's probably a tiny mpg penalty but nobody alive has ever worried about that.

2.5 ready lift / air ride 1000 in the rear 1.5 bora wheel spacers.

Strut lvl is definitely better than spacer, so you are headed in the right direction.
