I just got my 2000 Ram Van 2500 and it has no rear bumper. The VIN Decoder calls out Rear Bright Bumper w/ Step Cap. And the internet pics show that as well. What is the best way to find such a thing? Salvage yard?
There are replacements available from Rock Auto, Sherman, etc. But they don't spec anything with the top cap. And the mounting hardware is usually discontinued as far as I've seen.
So, does anyone have suggestions on how to find that bumper, or even a replacement option that includes mounting hardware?
And is there any interchangeability with van 2500 model years? And does the ram 2500 pick up bumper fit a 2500 van?
