I have a 2001 1500 sport with a 360 4x4 and 190k miles. I just replaced the gov pressure sensor and seliniod. Truck ran great for a few weeks the my engine light came on again. The trans wasn't shifting sometimes and other times it would just automatically shift out of drive or OD into neutral. I have trouble Manually trying to shift is as well. When a start the truck and put it in D or N, it takes a lot of peddle to get it to start moving. (Like holing in the clutch with a manual trans). I noticed I'm also leaking a lot of fluid around the bell housing. The code read that the converter isn't getting proper pressure reading

I have a few questions...
1) is there another pressure sensor for the torque converter?
2) is there a pump that could be going bad or is that essentially part of the torque
3) is this just the converter going bad

Any help would be appreciated very much. I thank you in advance for your help.

Sounds like the pump has failed. I haven't actually torn one of our transmissions down but from what I understand, the pump is behind the torque converter.
