2003 1500, 4.7 idle issue

I posted in the engine and performance section but maybe it was the wrong forum. I'm having issues with the truck running rough and occasionally stalling when stopped. It's intermittent at best. I swapped the TPS sensor and cleaned the throttle body. Anyone else have this issue and resolve it?

Check your idle air control valve. I had a 2003 4.7L and something got caught in the valve holding it open and the thing idled at like 1300rpm until I got it fixed. Yours could have the opposite problem with something holding it closed.

Worth a shot. I'll try to clean or replace the IAC. From what I hear, it's a common issue. Was hoping someone nailed it down to a particular part by now.
