I have a 2004 dodge ram . It started to sound like something was hitting the top of the valve cover. Sounded horrible. A mechanic friend told us it was the secondary timing chain tensioner on the driver side. So I replaced both the secondary timing chain tensioners. Now it will not start at all. It would start and run before. We bought a new battery for it 3 days ago, and it still won't start. Should I have changed the timing chains also? What do you think I did wrong. Thanks.
