I have a 2005 ram with the 3.7 automatic. I blew the engine a while back and found a replacement engine out of a 2005 jeep liberty 3.7 2wd automatic. I am wondering if these two engines are "swappable" without too much headache. The jeep engine has about 97 thousand miles on it and I am hoping that I can just plug and play. It seems that the wiring harnesses are a little different so if anyone has done this swap or knows enough about both vehicles to tell me what I'd need to do to get it swapped in, any help is great. I have the old dodge transmission and I'm pretty sure they will bolt up, I'm just worried about wiring mainly. Thanks in advance.
