I hope one of you guys can help me out. I purchased a 2005 1500 quad cab recently. The tail lights that are on there are older clear altezza’s that are fogged up and honestly just plain ugly. I ordered a new set of OEM replacements and went to put them in and to my surprise the left tail light factory plug had been cut and the lightswere wired directly in to the bulb sockets. I found a set of factory tail plugs off a 02-06 Ram that was being parted out, can’t remember the exact year. The plugs the guy sent me plug into the OEM lights just fine but the wire colors are completely different on both plugs then what’s coming from my left tail light and at this point I’m lost, I had planned to just match up the wires by color and soldier them together. After some further investigation I also found out there’s a difference between the left and the right socket so I’m assuming that’s why the set has different color wires. Can anyone please help me figure out what wires go together, any help is greatly appreciated. I have attached pictures for reference, thanks
