2011 4.10 gears

[Nutshell]

So I'm looking to upgrade my 2011 to 4.10's from 3.55's for both performance and towing. My neighbor has the same truck but with factory 3.92's and the towing is a much more pleasurable experience. Anyone done this mod on a 2011 or newer? I know Dodge changed something after 2010 that makes a gear upgrade tricky. I will probably do the limited slip upgrade at the same time. I'm pretty sure this was an option on the Ram RT's.

I know Moe's has the factory Mopar gears and the limited slip but I've been told I need to machine the rear carrier to make this work. Moe's states their parts are for the 9.25ZF differential which is what I believe I have.

On the 11s, it a parts swap. I got all the parts from Moe's. I'm still waiting for the shop to put them in. I can tell you all about it, hopefully in the next few days.

I had it done on my 2012. It's a straight forward install with no modifications if you use mopar parts, may as well do lsd while you are at it. I got my parts from Moe's, too. Hope that helps.
