2011 fog light problem

Ok, so I'm the recent owner of a new to me 2011 Ram 1500... Had the truck about 2 weeks. I have fog lighTs but I can't get them to come on. I read the owners manual... Push the headlight button in and they come on right? When I push in the headlight button, nothing happens. Normally Is there supposed to be a bulb in the headlight button to indicated the fogs are on or is there an icon on the dash? Any ideas on what I should investigate to identify the problem?

On the bottom left of the dash an indicator light will come on notifying you that your fogs are on. Make sure the headlights are in the on position and not in auto mode, may not be in a dark enough area.
