2013 Ram with 5.7 hemi,
Lose power and shuts off up slight hill. Code say miss fire on no. 4 cyl. only . No other codes.
Replace plugs, n coil.
The first time this happened, had a bent push rod , replaced it. Notice that the no.4 intake valve is a bit higher than other valves.
WOULD LIKE SOME INPUT.

Does the valve move? and you may have bent the rocker arm probably has a camshaft /lifter problem how many miles. As for shutting off on a incline how much gas is in the tank when this happens lol

Valve is probably the root cause and you could have another bent rod. Find root cause if the rod is bent again. Another term for uphill is increased load, so if you are misfiring under load could be early cam lob damage, another thing to consider.

All the valves move, I put a straight edge over top of all valves and #4 is a bit higher. So, I'm thinking a stretch valve.
Also found plug in at ECM was not plugged all the way.
Checked ground cables to engine , PCV , but, still kinda thinking cam damage on #4 lobe . Need to buy me a scope to look at them .
