I have a 2013 Ram 1500 big horn with the factory rear camera.

Here in Boston with crazy weather changes. So last weekend 74 degrees and yesterday % inch Snow storm.

I noticed my rear camera is all foggy and haze when I was out plowing last night, I jumped out to wipe the lens and still hazy.

This morning 40 degrees out and I looked at the lens and seems to be a film in the lens.

My question is How do I get to the camera is it easy and can the lens be cleaned if I take it out.

If i re install can it be sealed some how for this to not happen again.

Daughter has a 2011 jeep with looks like the same lens and hers is crystal clear.

thanks

Watching a you tube video and seems the camera is all 1 unit built in to the tailgate handle. Does not look like the lens is removable. So Think gotta go to ebay and look for a good used one.

Seems simple enough to remove the gate handle about 20 minutes to swap out.
