2013 Ram 2500 5.7 new fan clutch question

I had a shop replace the water pump, thermostat, and fan clutch. The truck has 120,000 on it. The new fan clutch is real real loud, almost as if the clutch is staying engaged. Anyone experienced this before?

my 2016 6.4 hemi went through 3 fan clutches in 30,000 miles. stupid loud. doggy performance when engaged all the time. had best luck with " mopar " aftermarket sourced fan clutch. ( mail order from mopar parts online ). good luck. cheers!

thank you, it started working correctly for a day or so, then locked up and loud again. This is crazy, I guess i am going to go with a factory one
