I have a 2013 SLT Quad Cab and I would like to add the OEM Push Button and Remote Start options.

I have read that I will need:

Start button switch part# 6CK46DX9AC

In cab antennas part# 56046958AA - qty of 2

Door antennas part# 56046957AA - qty of 2

RF Hub part# (??????????) - I'm not sure on the correct part# on this. I have found the 68213675AH and previous iterations. But I have no clue if these support Keyless Enter n Go. They look like they are just the wireless hubs.

Will I need any miscellaneous wiring harnesses for this install?

The next thing on the list is to install the OEM remote start kit part# 82213587

Would this be a suitable kit for me or should I go a different route on the remote start? As far as the push button start I don't need to utilize the keyless proximity entry or any other feature of it other than just the push button itself.

I have found a same year Laramie truck with a VIN of 1C6RR7WT4DS673270 if that helps to verify for the parts I selected earlier and any parts that I need for this project.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Ram did not offer the push button start without proximity entry in the 4th gen so you will need the hub that supports both. The one out of the 13 Laramie Longhorn should work fine as long as it didn't have air suspension. You don't need to enable the proximity entry if you don't want it. You will also not need the door antennas as they are for the proximity entry. You will only need the two Interior Antennas. All that being said you may want to consider adding the proximity entry as well. It's kind of redundant to remove the fob from your pocket to unlock the truck and then push a button to start it. With the proximity entry the fob never leaves your pocket so it's a nice addition to the push button feature and they go well together.

Thanks for the suggestion on the proximity entry. I will definitely consider it. My thinking on not doing the proximity entry was I'm already so used to reaching in my pocket to unlock the truck while the fob is still in my pocket. But if I'm going to go through and install something like this I might as well install those while I have everything opened up.

I guess this will lead me into my next question if I do decide to do the proximity entry would that require new door handles as well? I'm trying to eliminate all the chrome on my truck as much as possible and I don't want to add a handle with the chrome covers on them.

Yes, you will need to replace the front driver and passenger door handles for proximity entry.

Rick can confirm this but from what I see since you are looking to add keyless go and will need that specific Hub, The accessory remote start kit Hub will be useless and we will essentially want to add remote start with all OE components instead so here is the list:

Hub Keyless w/remote start https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-hub-receiver-56046941ai
Remote Fob 2 Req - https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-integrated-key-fob-transmitter-68288424ab
Key Blank 2 Req - https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-key-blank-must-be-cut-locally-68200221aa?c=bD0xJm49U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM=
Passive Antenna (console mtd) - https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-passive-entry-antenna-56046958aa
Remote Start Antenna - https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-remote-start-and-keyless-entry-antenna-68144668ab
Hood Latch - https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-hood-latch-4589707ad
Ign Switch - https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-ignition-switch-6ck46dx9ac

Before getting into adding passive entry/handles the issue I am coming across is that the remote start overlay harness is not available as a separate item so a custom harness may be required for this.

Thanks for all that info! I really appreciate it. As far as the custom harness that I would have to create would either of you two know of any write ups on here for my specific application?

I'm looking at the Auto Tech Electronic kit and I can add a remote start to their basic kit and it looks like it comes with a harness but that's $1100 total right there and that doesn't even include the door handles.

I think it would definitely be worth my time to build the harness and source these parts myself.

Look in the 4th gen DIY section. @Jimmy07 did a complete writeup on it with schematics and part#s for the pins and connectors. We have built several to install on trucks here and may have some extra connectors and pins if your familiar with pinning wires. I will check with STecoD and see what we have left. I recommend going with the factory setup. You will have the correct messages on the screen and other features because you will actually be enabling the codes in the BCM with the Alfa tool. Read the how to thread and it should catch you up. It' long now but will answer a lot of your questions.

Hope someone can help so I'm in the same boat. I have a 2014 that I want to upgrade to push to start and since I'll be doing that I'll do the remote start as well. My Rf Hub according to the alfa obd is ECU part number: 68213675AH, Hardware number: 68213675AE. Now when I looked at the hub itself it has 3 connections on it already. One looks like a passive antenna connected to the left of the hub and 2 going to the right. Also there is a connection going over for the latch already installed and ready to be hooked up. Would this mean that my hub has the remote start antenna already in it, and all I need for the remote start is the latch itself. I've read through about 60 pages of this whole push to start and most are for 17 and up trucks so I'm super confused on the hub I need lol Everything else makes sense on how to do it and which parts I need but the damn hub lol

Shoot me your VIN so I can look it over but it sounds like you have most of the components already.
