I don't think anyone ever said "I'm happy with 2.5" "

Go for a 6"

Lol. I will eventually go with a bigger lift and tires. But with using my truck as our family vehicle for trips and stuff, my wife would shoot me. She is very vertically challenged. Lol. Only being 5' tall barely. Lol. She hated my 85 Powerwagon with 44" ground hawgs. Lol.

I have the same issue of needing to find a lift without too much lift, for the sake of the others climbing in and out.

I entirely hear ya. My remarks were purely smart-ass in nature.
Until my truck is a toy, it's stock height or leveled.

35's will look good with anywhere from 2-5 inches of lift.

If the front end is leveled, and the track bar is not touched, how bad does this move the front axle off from center under the truck?

I think I might just wait for the FABTECH 5" lift to be released. They are guessing somewhere arround 6 weeks which probably means 8 weeks. But it looks like a solid lift design.

Procomp 2" lvl kit which also has a bracket that lifts the bottom shock mount so you don't lose downward travel. This kit will work for a year or so until some real lift kits come out (Carli or KORE). Tires are 35" TOYO AT II, wheels are 18x9 FUEL Boost -5.

Here is a link for a walk around video.

everyone has personal preference, IMO bds or rough country, i had a rough country 6 lift.. destroyed my front end.. " snapped a half shaft on one side/ ripped apart the axle tube on the other" Only broke one axle spacer " lift part" .. and i was amazed at how much better it stayed together than the factory parts it was bolted to. Called rough country, they sent the parts over night, not one bit of hassle, didn't cost me a dime..
