2014 HID fogs, anything special needed?

I took my HID fogs out of my 2012 when I traded it in last week and am wanting to use the ballasts on my new 2014 with some 9006 bulbs. Can you just plug and play on the fogs like on the 2012 or is a relay harness needed? Again this is for the fog lights not the headlights.

Seems like some of us canadians need a relay harmess with capacitors or warning cancellers, ive read of some american 13's running just plug and play but most run with a regular relay harness, mine wouldnt even turn on without a relay and flicker while running without a capacitor
