I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Express with the uconnect 5.0 and a 7 speed fan. I'm looking to upgrade to the 8.4 UAS and have auto temp control with the radio, not too concerned with the auto climate bezel button. Can you guys check to make sure my parts list is correct, or if i'm missing anything. Thanks in advance..
So, for what my research pointed me to is the following:
01. RADIO: 68331631AH (UAQ) or 68331635AH (UAS)
02. SINGLE ZONE OEM 8.4" (MTC) BEZEL: 1UJ96DX9AF (AC, AD, AE, etc)
** Optional: DUAL ZONE 8.4" (ATC) BEZEL
OEM cost $176
03. Base to 8.4 Radio Conversion Harness (7 speed Fan specific models):
. . See below to make your own in standard or extended length
. . (or get one from: M² Mods )
- *NEW OPTION* Extended 4 or 7 Speed Conv. Harness w/ATC Temp Sensor Wiring/Plug $160 (Only $15 extra)
04. As DeereGuy stated, it appears that on 2018 trucks ...
- 68366552AA = 1500 trucks w/8.4 radios (MTC & ATC)
ie factory 7 speed fan (w/Variable Displacement A/C Compressor)
I think this is needed now with the MY18 4C ?
$120-$130.
05. 911 Error Fix/Cell Bypass Plug: (or SharkFin Antenna mod)
. . See note 1 (below) to make your own or get one from M² Mods (or online elsewhere for more)
- Fakra D Cell Bypass: $30 Shipped

Jump Seat Insert Replacement
Trucks that have a jump seat can order part number 68376066AA which is the insert with the correct cutout for the 18 RAM USB Hub. The cost is around $95. MPGrimm2 has recorded several videos showing how to change the insert.

if all's good, I'll be ordering from you folks as soon as I get the correct UAS in hand.
