Hey all... been digging through the forums and google for this... is how i came to some of the changes I've made, but I cannot get the hyperflash and codes to go away no matter what I've done so far.

2015 RAM 1500 + Morimoto XB LED assembly.

Symptoms: L/R Turn Signal Bulb Out Alert... they ARE working. I've tried both sequential and static in the headlights with no change. Hyperflash turn signals in the door mirror lights (power fold) ONLY. Front and back are signaling at appropriate speed. Each change made was key off + 5 (or more) minutes separately. Side question: should i remove the resistors morimoto i have on the unit?

I never used the harness for the fogs. It was plug n play.

Sorry... I should have made my post more specific. I replaced the headlight assembly, not the fogs (although am looking at them, so thx for that info).

No worries. I've got it working (sans sequential signals). Will have to pull the latest config used.

Hyperflash in your case would LED's could be burnt out. There should be no other reason for hyperflash from a factory LED/projector truck.

The hyperflash is after replacing the factory projectors with the Morimoto XB LED Assemblies (not a bulb replacement). There are no LEDs burned out in the chain that I can see.

It's currently resolved, but not sure which setting/config resolved it. Things I've done since this post... basically returned the ECU back to where it was originally. Changed bi-xenon to no. Changed HID to yes (to disable the PVM monitoring). Plugged in the turn signal cable that disables sequential signals.

I get it. Have you switched the tail lights also or just the head lights?

When I did LED's to my girls camry in both the front and rear turn signals I wired in a cheap 6ohm gold resistor. Fixed it right up. The resistor does get hot overtime with the flash so I mounted them in the trunk out of sight.

I got mine off Amazon but something like this sound with. One on each side should be the truck. If you only change the front 3ohm might be better. Someone with more knowledge on how the ohms work would be great. I'm no electrician for the disclaimer.

Sorry... never hit post on my reply lol. *I* haven't done anything with the tail lights. I noticed they were already set to LED in the computer when i hooked up AlfaOBD, but it was already like that when I purchased the truck. Maybe factory LED? Was that even an option for the 2015s? Not sure TBH. They look LED... that or there's a BUNCH of halogen bulbs in there lol.

I haven't had an issue for a while now. Still not sure if it's the fact that i turned sequential off in the MM or something in the computer change. I may turn sequential back on and see what happens. If it starts hyperflashing with sequentials on, we'll know the root cause. I'll probably get some of those you suggested to have on hand for when/if i have to do anything further. I appreciate it.

Yes my 15 sport has projectors and led stock from the factory.

The sequential blinking similar to Audi causes problems in the Ram. I don't think there was a tail light made that had sequential blinking.

The sequential i'm referring to is built in to the morimoto headlight assembly. no sequentials on the back end. probably won't even reactivate them on the front. they're kind of annoying to me as a driver looking at them on someone else's vehicle... ESPECIALLY the back. not my thing

I installed the Morimoto XB Headlights on my 2015 Ram 3500 (factory projector truck). I am able to utilize the sequential turn signals with no hyper flash, maybe because it came from my dealer with a flatbed with led’s on it. My issue is that while test driving it last night, the headlights went OFF. They came back on after a few seconds, then went out again. I am running Morimoto’s resistors on the assemblies and changed the fog lights to led as well. I have ordered the AlfaOBD in hopes that it fixes the powering off issue. Headlight Revolution is also sending me PWM harnesses for the fog lights. I really like the headlights, but can’t have them turning off intermittently.

When I had the hids in mine they use to power off like you say.It use to only happen after the battery went dead from truck not being used or bed lights left on.If I drove it at night I worked out they would turn off by themselves over 3 seperate drives after battery dying lol, after that no problem.I switched to the morimoto and did the whole Alfaobd thing and haven't had a problem, love these lights compared to hids as hids are finnicky,Make sure in Alfaobd you change headlights to hids even though you have leds.

I installed the morimoto xb LED headlights in my 2015 Bighorn eco d (non projector), morimoto tail lights, and diode dynamics LED fog lights and couldn't be happier. I didn't use any of the "required" resistors for the headlights, have have no hyper flashing or bulb out codes.
I did use alfaOBD and changed the high and low beams to LED-present and also enabled the fog lights with the high beams!
Seamless install for me. I did not activate the sequential front turn signals though.

Recon makes a scrolling tail light so they do indeed have an option for that.

How would you end up activating the sequential? I’m thinking I may buy those headlights.

Activating sequential on Morimoto XB LEDs is as simple as unplugging a connector on the harness.
