Hey yall,

FNG here, I just purchased a 2015 crew cab express and want to get the puddle fold out towing mirrors. The stock ones are power and heated, is the connection there for the turn signal indicator that comes on the towing mirrors?

Yes it's there on my 14 and from everything I have read your truck is the same. I have done it to mine and they work fine. You will have to have the sales codes for the puddle lights and and turn signal lights added by the dealer. I believe the codes are LEB and LEC but you might want to double check that. It just takes them a minute to add the codes so make sure they don't over charge you. Make sure you get mirrors from a 13 or newer the temp sensors are in the mirror. You cannot add the sales code for the power fold option in the Express or at least I couldn't in mine plus the power fold options takes different door modules and you would need a different window switch. You can fold them manually if you need to or rig up a switch like I did and just hard wire them in. The power fold mirror wires are the yellow and blue ones.

Thanks for the info Rick. The power fold would be nice, was it difficult to install? The rest should just be plug and play correct? As far as the heat and power goes

Yes it's a plug and play once you have the codes activated you will have an extra plug on each mirror but you will be able to see where it plugs in on your door module. It really looks nice at night when you hit the unlock button and the puddle lights come on. I surprised how well they light up the ground. I recommend getting the mirrors with the blinker and puddle lights. Ram just made these sales codes available I think last year. It isn't hard to make a reverse polarity switch to operate the power fold and just wire it to a positive and a ground. This is what mine looked like. Make sure it's a momentary switch.

Ok will do, thanks. I think I'll go without the power fold option for now, where did you pick yours up at?

Found them on e bay got one for 100.00 the other for 150.00. I got the sport type mirrors. I like the look better and they are fine for me for towing. As I said before it is extremely important that you get a 2013 or newer mirrors. A lot of salvage yards still think all of the mirrors are the same and list that they will work and they won't. If you get the wrong ones you will get a check engine light and your outside temp display won't work. .

Hey Rick,

Got the mirrors installed by my dealer. They have the turn signals and puddle lamps. Got home and realized only one of the two LEDs is lighting up inside the puddle light. In addition, the passenger side's lone LED is very dim. Curious if you ran into these issues?
