I’ve searched the threads here and found no definitely answer to let me pick your brains.

I have tried Fahren Termitor brand bulbs (my favorite and ran them in my 2006), with a quality decoder. Had no lights or an occasionally flicker but absolutely no steady light output.

I reverted back to Lasfit bulbs, less bright but doable, still connected to the decoder. Same results.

Removed the decoder and wired them straight with absolutely zero difference.

I keep getting told and reading that a lot of electronic things changed in the 2015’s and that I’d need resistors for the headlights or AlfaOBD. Alfa is obviously new to but I’m learning slowly what it does. I’d rather wire in a resistor but I can’t find something just screams “this is it!”

So any guidance or advice is always appreciated.

The high beam LED Fahren Termitor 90° bulbs work flawlessly. Should even try doing the 90° for the low beams? And am going to run into the same ****uation with the fog lights?

Thank you!

Not sure if it will help with your situation but I found my old post where I installed Hikari Ultra LED Bulbs in my factory 2018 Projectors...

Post #1349 - Anyone try Modifystreet headlights?
(have to set/enable HID's with AlfaOBD)

And some other references I saved:

.
I have also heard that the 2015's are a bit more temperamental with LED lighting changes even though they are electrically the same as 14-17 trucks.

I've had a bunch of Ram's, Both projector and reflector headlights. I've avoided the 2015 model year and anyone I've tried to help with a 2015 has ended not good. The electronics on that model are sensitive for some unknown reason to me.

However, for projector headlights I've tried both HIDs and LEDs. The HIDs hands down are better than LEDs in projector headlights IMHO. AlfaOBD is a must have as well when changing bulb types

My suggestion, connect with @Underground Lighting a sponsor here on the forum. They will get you sorted.
