I just went from a 2009 slt 5.7 to a 2015 bighorn 5.7 feels good to be up to date. My question is I want to put an exhaust on this one, I'm thinking a MagnaFlow Y-pipe, and a Spin Tech super pro street 9000. My question is the inlet/outlet size for the Y-pipe and the muffler? Also anyone else running a set up similar to this, how do you like it?

I'm about to buy the same muffler but I'm going to run the single in dual out so I don't have the run a ypipe.. There are a few guys on here with a spin tech muffler and they sound great..

The factory tailpipes are 2.25", but most exhaust shops can make a dual 2.5" outlet muffler work.

You may find the R/T RCSBs have a 2.5" system.

They can expand it to fit with a half inch or so. Any bigger you will need a adapter.

Im about to order the 6000, not sure if the 9000 would be to loud. Want it just a little louder than stock while cruising but wanna hear it through the higher RPMS. Will be probably do a set of long tubes down the road, thats why I'm leaning towards the 6000.
