2016/2017 Ram 1500 mechanical difference?

Hi All, loved my 2016 1500 Express quad so much that I recently traded in for 2017 1500 Crew Laramie.
Besides option features added on Laramie package was wondering if there are any mechanical upgrades between those years.

I think it was 17 or 18 that the bed was reinforce but most of the changes between '16/'17 were probably cosmetic/options changes.

First I've heard of any bed reinforcement change, interesting.

Should be no changes to speak of.

No changes to engine, trans, exhaust changes, or tow capacity?

Nope. Vehicle configuration affects tow ratings, so be sure to check for each vehicle.
