2016 Dodge Ram usb hub not working

Hey all so I just recently replaced my stock 8.4 nab radio to a 8.4 UAS radio to enable the car play function. Issue I’m having is I replaced the USB hub to the recommended model and have the adapter harness to connect my usb to the new hub but it’s not working and don’t know where issue is

By not working, what do you mean? Where did you get the USB hub adapter from?

have you tried a different lightning cable to the USB hub? some cables are charge only or just don't work well for data

I was using the standered apple cable that comes with the phone

I bought the harness from m2mods I believe was the site

There is a recall on it I went to the dealership and they replaced it. Fir free but they tried to charge me for the labor but with warranty they cover it.
