2016 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel power fold mirror not working

i just recently purchased a 2016 Ram 1500 4x4 Eco Diesel Longhorn.. when you push the power fold mirror switch nothing happens.. i went to check the fuses... in the book it says fuse 101 is a 15Amp fuse for the mirror fold, but in the distribution box fuse 101 is listed as a spare and there isn't a fuse listed for the power fold mirrors... I'm at a loss... i need to get these working as i live on a busy street and dont want them hit

Mirror fold modules are at top of diagram, Blue wire & yellow wire for each.

Did you check your VIN? Your truck may not have come with folders and previous owner put in the switch to try to “enable” the feature.

Maybe the mirrors were replaced at some point with non power folding ones. Just recently had a co-worker purchase a new to him used truck that this was the case with. Previous owner put on tow mirrors but not power folding.

I did a little research on this, you not only have to get different mirrors and a switch for the door, but you have to get the control modules for both doors and I think another module as well, can't quite remember... Power mirrors came in 2016 but not power folding mirrors even though that's what the window sheet says...

My 2016 has power fold mirrors, so 2016 definitely had that option. I’ll check fuses tomorrow to see if I see anything different.

My 2016 Ram BigHorn SLT 1500 has Power Folding Mirrors
It was a factory option

I really believe that your Ram came with Power Folding Mirrors
as long as they are not Tow Mirrors
