Interesting. I should have retained more from the posts others have shared.

I'll start working back from most recent electrical mod, or all and hope for a difference in steering.

Where to begin....... Headlights, taillights, stereo, light bar, rock lights, blah blah blah....

I would concentrate on the fuseable link that is connected to the positive battery terminal. I have not had a chance to hook it back up and see if the same error occurs, I will try that in the next few days and report back.
The biggest issue I have with all of this 12v nonsense is why has Dodge made it so difficult to modify the vehicle?

My issue was not electric, and I thought it was odd not having any warning lights or codes to begin with. Dealer replaced intermediate steering shaft and u-joint which were seized.

Like new again. :^)

Well I have an update:
I have connected the power leads again to the fuseable link. I made sure that everything was nice and tight...there is no problem now. I will see if this remains working.
