I hear that. I wonder if having no cats is what is causing your headache. I had ARH LTs on my 2016 with catted ARH Y and it didn't drone or make any weird sounds at all.

yeah the cats stop the noise normally.

with no cats you get the slapping sound out of the exhaust, usually a muffler stops the sound from exiting out the tail pipes but this y i bought to fab the y pipe is like a stamped thing, its too thin and its letting the sound out.

it sounds great out of the tail pipes but in the cab i can hear it slapping i haven't tried to have someone drive it and see if i can hear it standing outside

Probably the exhaust system rubbing/vibrating against something......it is a custom exhaust.....
I have headers with no cats.....no issues except the smell...... LoL

Why would he want to do that? Vehicles with mufflers sound better than straight pipes.
People running straight exhausts are obnoxious and inconsiderate of others.
Exactly not sure why he was posting in the first place

That sounds you hate with no cats and no mufflers is the sound that's coming out of my cheap ass stamped y pipe merge that's what this whole thread is about

No, it’s the sound coming out of your straight exhaust tailpipe. Y pipe has no bearing on that. Put a quality muffler on it and see what happens.
