Just did rotors n pads on my 16 sport but it seems my front left is a tad sticky....On a slight decline you can feel it holding up for a min or so and then it seems to roll freely....
My options.....
2 new calipers...
Caliper rebuild kits, thinkin i should do fresh flex lines as well..
New calipers from mopar canada is $223 plus core of $35 ea...Originals are on it by the way..

Or caliper kits for about $65 each...

Either way its to cold now to be layin on the ground so that means shop time..

I know kits are cheaper but is it worth it,unless i grab a set of power stop calipers for roughly same price from amazon..

I also noticed roughly a 50 degree temp diff when i put lazer temp gun on them....

Thoughts folks..

Check the slide pins make sure they're clean and lubed properly and change the hoses. If that doesn't resolve the issue then change the calipers.

also, powerstop sells nice painted caliper replacements. If I had to replace calipers, I would upgrade to the painted onese and go with steel lines while they were off.

I bought a complete PowerStop kit for my Tundra, many years ago.

Calipers
Pads
Rotors
Braided steel lines.

According to my regular mechanic, right or wrong, he said that the braided steel lines he had seen failed far too often, and most if not all are not DOT-approved.

I installed everything but the braided lines, mostly because I wasn't convinced I received the correct lines for my truck and partially on his claim.

I did however have braided steel brake lines on my wrist rocket as a youth, and they rocked!
