Alignments can still be completed after the recall.
If you are having concerns, we can goodwill you a new drag link without a weld.
Feel free to send us a PM.

********, you cannot adjust the "adjustable" link once you weld it. FCA should be ashamed of themselves for this so called "fix".

I realize you are just the messenger but you can run this up the chain and tell them you have a bunch of pissed off customers

This recall is still open on my truck because I refuse to let them weld it. Whenever they decide to do the right thing and replace it with the new drag link I'll be happy to let them fix it but they are not welding an adjustable part.

There is an alignment process that the dealer follows after the weld is done.
We can also send a drag link so you can complete the recall. Send us a PM with your VIN and dealer info if you are interested.

Ya, Good luck with that!!

numerous people have been reimbursed. it never hurts to try. the other option is roam the forums ******** and complaining how terrible of a fix welding the nuts is but not doing anything about. not everyone will agree with my approach but i picked up the synergy and installed it myself then went on about life. havent bothered to get reimbursed yet. been busy with more important things i guess. truth be known, i had forgotten all about this draglink mess except for when someone rehashes one of these old threads, complaining but not wanting to do anything about it.

Kaitlin, I just bought the new link last week. I'm not overly concerned with reimbursement but are you saying that my dealer wi8ll install it free of charge? Thanks

I'm not sure what she is saying (yet). I sent her a PM with my info right after she posted that but haven't had a response so not sure where this is going?

The dealer will still probably charge you to install it, but you'd need to check with them.

What I am saying is that if you had a weld completed for the recall, and then have concerns related to the weld, we can send a new drag link to your dealership to address the concerns. This would be done free of charge to you.
