I just purchased 2017 Laramie Longhorn for wife and want to lift it a little (3 inches) and add better/bigger tires.
So much info on kit brands, not sure what is ok. I dont want to cheap out and regret it, considering Eibach.
Any advice on brands? thanks

I was thinking a suspension lift front and back, not just level kit. Not 100% committed to the idea though, but I see its quite a bit less expensive. would like to run 35s.
I'm really afraid of a squeaky poor handling truck afterwards, if I do it I need a reasonably good product, she wont be off-roading...just for appearance.

From what ive read the eibach kit is a great choice. Its either stick to 2-2.5” up front and a little extra height out back, or go full bore with an actual lift kit with drop brackets.

Reach out to nick for advice. And quick_shifter. They will get you where you wanna be based on your needs, wants and desires.

I have pretty close to what your looking for. Bilstein 5100 at 2.8”, JBA upper control arms, Suspensionmaxx sway links in the front. Spacers for about 2.5” lift in the rear with Fox shocks, freedom offroad adjustable trac bar, Hellwig sway bar, synergy adjustable sway links, and currently a set of adjustable control arms on the way. If your not planning on doing any offroading you can skip a lot of that, but I wanted this truck to be as capable as possible. I use this truck for everything from 2hr daily commutes to dune climbing and mudding.

In your situation I would start with bils at 2.8, JBA upper control arms, then pick your height of lift spacer in the rear and get some extended sway links (jeep gladiators have the same rear suspension and have way more options for sway links). If you find that doesn’t meet your needs you can continue to upgrade as you go.

Do you off road at all or plan to? That would change what I would recommend.

Either way shoot me a message and we can discuss options and pricing

Eibach and Bilstein are apples to apples so don’t get ******* with one or the other there is no wrong answer.
In order to stay quiet with an improvement in ride quality stay under 2.5” or go strait to the zone 4” bracket lift. Suspension is 190% you get what you pay. @Nick@GotExhaust will not steer you wrong and he takes all the guess work out of trying to order the right parts for the right year etc.
remember any time you raise the front the rear needs something our trucks don’t do “level” the hood’s higher than the bed so you want to keep a bare minimum 3/4” rake 1” is preferred

This is great advice for OP. Staying under 2.5 really does offer factory like ride and it’s way less expensive. I went with Bil 5100’s all around and set at 2.1. Unless you absolutely have to have 35’s a simple level with a slight rake and 34’s gives these trucks a more aggressive stance, good ride and saves potentially thousands.

well that saved me a ton of research.
I'm not very knowledgeable about lifts, only know they are a nightmare when done wrong. Thanks to everyone, does Nick ship to Canada?

Yes I do. Message me with your truck info, how much lift you want, and full shipping address. Also let me know your intended uses for the truck. Then I can make a recommendation based on all of that along with a quote with shipping costs included.

Either level it or lift it. 3" is a middle area that is not really doable correctly on these trucks.

Most horror stories and the “done wrong” are folks using the spring compressors made for cars trying to compress a truck spring so even if they are able to get the not on it’s not actually tightened down and the bird chirping will never go away because at that point the remaining threads are damaged

I have the 3.25" carli linear coils on the front and thuren progressive leaf springs on the back of my '18 SRW 3500 on 37" (Falken Wildpeaks) on 17" wheels. The backspace on your wheels will be important. I have a +20mm and there is no rubbing with minimal trimming of the plastic wheel well. I also have the Fox 2.0 Backcountry with reservoir shocks. I would look at CJC offroad YouTube videos. They are pretty much the specialists at this thing. They even tell you to move the alignnent to the 2nd notch from the back to soft the axle forward. They have it dialed in. Their customer service is awesome as well.
