That looks great! I have a soft spot for those late 90's TJ'sBeen working on getting a 97 TJ fixed up for my brother since his ford 6.0 engine had some needle bearings make their way through the oil pump

Always been my favorite keeps as well! I’m jealous it’s not gonna be mine hahaThat looks great! I have a soft spot for those late 90's TJ's
The troubling part for me is that on my 4Runner it happened equally front to rear and left to right. I have attributed that to having E range tires filled to 50 PSI on a vehicle as light as a 4runner. That was my bad, live and learn on that oneIt's probably the alignment. In all my years owning trucks, it's always been the alignment when the tires cupped. Not enough negative camber or too much positive camber.
It would be doable if I put more effort into the balancers.. either have these wheel spacers machined down some or get 1/2” longer wheel studs. But I really just don’t feel like going through the hassle of changing wheel studs out. I was really looking forward to them working as well. Oh well.Well that sucks on both fronts. I was hoping to hear good things out of the balancers.
My 30-8A does that same thing, I thought it was just me. Just a very small dot on the bottom that I can't get rid of, but never enough to drip off on the ground.Well shoot.
that’s somewhat comforting to hear.. does it leak enough to pain your front crossmember with oil too? I drove about 50 miles last night after the install and there is a decent amount of oil on the front crossmember that the LCAs attach toMy 30-8A does that same thing, I thought it was just me. I'm using an Improved Racing mount fwiw.
I don't think it blows back, I can look later when I head home. But I do only have one filter also.that’s somewhat comforting to hear.. does it leak enough to pain your front crossmember with oil too? I understand that feeling for sure, you could always double down and grab the PacBrake kit that comes with crimped lines and will still let you use a bigger filter in a better location.I got the leak on the oil fliters resolved by switching from royal purple 30-8a filters to fram XG8A filters. No leak on the filter in 100 miles so far. But I appear to have a leak on the adapter end of the setup that attaches to the original oil filter location. The leak seems to be coming from the swivel joint on the AN fitting... so thats awesome. At this point I am fed up with it and being a daily driven vehicle this is not worth the headache/worry in the back of my mind about new leaks coming up so I will be ditching this whole setup and going back to the PITA oil filter in its original location. While messy it will be much less headache than always worrying about a leak.
Im sure the fitting leak is my fault. This is my first time dealing with AN style hose and fittings and I am sure I missed something somewhere- so Ill just call this a learning experience and move on.
