2017 Sport crew cab speaker help

I just purchased a new to me 2017 1500 Sport with the stock 6 speaker system. I want to upgrade the stock speakers and purchased some kicker 44ksc69304 for the doors from Crutchfield. I went to install them today and none of the holes line up. So I got on the phone with Crutchfield support and they told me no matter what speaker I bought I would have to drill all new holes. Is this correct, or did I just buy the wrong speakers? If these are the wrong speakers do you guys have any recommendations for speakers where I will not have to drill the door?

3 of the 4 holes for my Kickers lined up, but I had CS. 2 things, did your front door speakers hit your window regulator? Most need spacers, mine needed 3/8th worth. Drilling into the plastic 6x9 stock housing is no big deal. Its very common for aftermarket speaker mounting holes to not match up 100%. That 6x9 is meant for any vehicle that can hold a 6x9.

Yes the fronts did hit but I had a 1/2 spacer for them but since the holes did not line up I could not mount. I could not get 2 of the holes to line up.

I put Pioneer TSA 6966R 6 x 9's in the doors and all the holes lined right up. Didn't replace the dash speakers but the new 4 door speakers sound a lot better they just rattle the door panels. This was in a 2015 Sport 1500 Crew Cab.
