i purchased the diff lock and sway bar disconnect over a year ago and my diff locks are not working by the turn knob so i went into the control module and adjusted the engagement of the diffs and i could get them to lock in that way but not by the knob so i replaced the knob thinking that would solve the problem but still no diff lock up everything is show ing correctly when i lock them by the adjustment screwsbut can not get them to lock by the knob any help thanks

Are you doing it correctly? In 4 low, moving slowly but 3 mph or less, making turns etc.?

They dont just lock right up instantly. They tend to take a lot of time. Best bet is to just go with the Able bypass setup…instant lockup with the factory knob!

i have the bypass installed for over a year now and it has just started this problem of not locking the diffs but the sway bar disconnect works and yes it did work for over a year until about a month ago and yes the stock setup is slow and in low 4wd i knew all about that setup not a fan thats why i got the bypass

I would suspect a loose wire or connection. Typically recommend doing some testing and inspection of components before just randomly replacing parts. Verify you have power to the knob, and check for the output signal coming from the knob.

I would just reach out to david, the guy who makes the bypass. Hes super knowledgeable about everything. I would guess your issue is with that, probably a loose connection somewhere like 62blazer said. Definitely trace/check everything with his bypass.

You have a 2 year warranty. It's probably a faulty 5V step down voltage regulator in the control box, I've had a few of them go bad. The factory dash switch won't work correctly without that 5V reference signal. Send the control box back to me so I can diagnose it and make it right. [email protected]
